HCI representatives participate in a Central Asian Regional Online Course on HIV/AIDS for Health Professionals

Health Connections International (HCI) is pleased to announce that two of its team members are currently enrolled in the Central Asian Regional Online Course on HIV/AIDS for Health Professionals. This online course is targeted at physicians and healthcare professionals in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, and is designed to improve their knowledge of HIV and AIDS treatment, care and support and provide information on international best practices.

Kalia Toguzbaeva (HCI’s Medical Moderator in Kyrgyzstan) and Dilorom Kadirova (one of 12 National Medical Moderators from HCI’s Focal Point in Kant, Kyrgyzstan) are enrolled in the course. Introductory on-site classes span two days (18—19 March), and will be followed by 2.5 months of distance learning coursework.

Preliminary reports from our team members are optimistic and both Kalia and Dilorom are excited to gain new knowledge, which will undoubtedly assist HCI’s programme activites in the country. The eLearning course runs from the 18 March through 22 June.
