HCI thanks Jeroen de Bruin and Pieter Groen for their outstanding contribution to KISP
28-04-2010
Health Connections International (HCI) would like to take a moment to recognise the hard work and significant contributions from Peru-based Jeronimo Design DDS, headed by Jeroen de Bruin, who has been working as a collaborative team with Pieter Groen to hone and streamline HCI's flagship project, its Knowledge- and Information-Sharing Platform (KISP). HCI’s KISP is a web-based platform which enables the exchange of information, expertise and knowledge between non-English speaking healthcare professionals in Central Asia and their English-speaking counterparts based across the globe. For the last few months, HCI’s KISP has been undergoing extensive internal testing prior to the launch of the beta version. Mr de Bruin took over primary responsibility for KISP’s development in January 2010. In collaboration with Mr Groen, the work flow has since been relentless, with impressive progress made including improvements to the functionality, fixing known bugs, and streamlining the look and feel of KISP to increase its overall user-friendliness.
Mr de Bruin runs Jeronimo Design DDS, a graphic and multimedia design agency based in Cusco, Peru offering services in web design, multimedia design, Internet consulting, and business administration consulting.
Mr Groen is an independent consultant whose fields of expertise include architecture and interaction design, usability engineering, user interface design project planning and management, consultation on user-centred design techniques, web 2.0 prototyping, and graphic design.
Mr de Bruin and Mr Groen have proven themselves as invaluable assets to HCI’s team. We look forward to continuing this working partnership.
