XVIIth International AIDS Conference, 2008
At the largest international conference devoted to HIV—the XVIIth International AIDS Conference, held in Mexico City, Mexico, August 2008—individual members of HARP were active participants of a panel discussion focussed on harm reduction and the exchange of experiences, entitled ‘Harm Reduction: An International Experience Exchange Programme’.
The discussion was chaired by Mr. Boris Dittrich of Human Rights Watch, and panel members included:

- Mr Prem Limbu, Recovering Nepal
- Mrs Graciela Touze, Latin American Harm Reduction Network
- Mr Marcus Day, Caribbean Harm Reduction Network

- Mr Vitaly Djuma, Russian Harm Reduction Network
