HCI’s KISP reaches the internal testing phase
29-01-2010
In Health Connections International’s (HCI’s) quest to improve the responses to the HIV, tuberculosis and drug use epidemics, the development and launch of its Knowledge- and Information-Sharing Platform (KISP) is at the core its programme activities. HCI is pleased to announce that this centrepiece has reached the internal testing phase of development and implementation. KISP’s functionality is being thoroughly evaluated and tested to ensure that healthcare professionals can share information and experiences quickly, easily and in Russian and English.HCI’s KISP is a web-based platform that will facilitate the exchange of information, knowledge and expertise between non-English speaking practitioners and their English-speaking colleagues from across the globe on a variety of issues and topics related to HIV, tuberculosis and drug treatment.
HCI would like to thank a number of technological partners who believe in HCI’s mission and have made KISP a material reality. Special credit must be attributed to Peter Steevensz of Vayday, internet solution architects, who have provided invaluable strategic and technical assistance in the creation of this tailor-made web-based platform. Likewise, Edwin van de Bospoort and Pieter Groen have also been instrumental throughout all phases of the design and testing stages of development, and their continued commitment, enthusiasm and technical expertise have been priceless.
Internal testing of HCI’s KISP will be on-going during the first quarter of 2010, with an anticipated launch date of 1 April 2010.
