Our Mission

Health Connections International is a solution-oriented non-profit organisation, created with the specific aim of strengthening healthcare systems and of improving the responses to the HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and drug use epidemics in the former Soviet Union and other regions through an innovative web-based information- and knowledge-sharing platform. HCI seeks to ensure that, through its efforts, crucial international support and important developments in the fields of HIV, TB and drug demand and harm reduction are not missed due to language and/or geopolitical boundaries.

The mission of Health Connections International is to contribute to the development of prevention, treatment, care and support mechanisms for those affected by the HIV, TB and drug use epidemics in the low-income countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) through the innovative multi-lingual delivery of knowledge, experience and information to healthcare, HIV and harm reduction professionals with the ambition of becoming a global service in the coming years.
