HCI equips Focal Points across the Tajik Republic

As part of its in-country activities is Tajikistan, Health Connections International (HCI) has equipped all of its Focal Points across the country. By the end of this week, all 12 Tajik Focal Points have received IT equipment and Internet has been installed.

In sync with the delivery of personal computers, Internet access was installed at each location. The end of March goal to fully connect all Tajik Focal Points has been met. All Focal Points are now fully connected and ready for use by Tajik healthcare professionals.

HCI’s Focal Points span the entire country, and are specifically located in the following areas: in the cities of Dushanbe (3), Isfara, Khorugh, Khujand, Kurghtonteppa, and Panjakent and in the oblasts of Kulob, Rasht, Tursunzoda, and Yovon.

Rustam Maxudov, HCI’s Country Liaison Co-ordinator for Tajikistan commented on the success of the deliveries: ‘The people at the Focal Points were very happy to receive this equipment. If you were with us, you would see the joy in their eyes. This alone allows us to understand that our efforts are not in vain’.

HCI is delighted to have fully functioning Focal Points in Tajikistan.
